EU AI Act Compliance
Last updated: 2026-07-14
Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 - EU AI Act
The European Union is leading the way towards responsible AI with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689, also known as the EU AI Act, the world's first mandatory legal framework to regulate the development and use of artificial intelligence.
This pioneering regulation establishes a risk-based approach, tailoring rules to the different levels of danger that AI may present:
- Prohibition of certain AI applications considered unacceptable due to high risk.
- AI systems used in critical sectors are subject to more stringent requirements.
- High penalties: up to €35 million or 7% of annual global turnover.
LIZAR A.I.A.'s Commitment
LIZAR A.I.A. commits to complying with the EU AI Act and all applicable regulations. Our risk category is limited, as we provide automation tools for business processes without prohibited or critical-risk applications.
